Malta Customs Brokers – WCO Academy Programme Introduction

Welcome to the Malta Customs Brokers WCO Academy Online Training Programme is a bespoke set of online trainings designed to build Customs Brokers’ knowledge in key Customs topics. 

Aligned with World Customs Organization (WCO) standards, the programme delivers self-paced learning covering Classification, Valuation, Rules of Origin, Customs procedures, and compliance — equipping both new and experienced brokers with the expertise needed to serve traders accurately and in full regulatory compliance.

Structured as a logical learning pathway of six modules totalling approximately 26 hours, the programme begins with the foundations of customs work and progresses to its most current applications:

1. Harmonized System Foundation (all 15 modules) – 6 hours
2. Customs Valuation – 10 hours
3. Rules of Origin – 4 hours
4. Customs Transit – 3 hours
5. Risk Management – Introduction and Principles – 1 hour
6. E-Commerce – 2 hours
